Default Rim and tire

Looking at buying a set of c6 z06 black oem wheels 18 and 19 inch rims. I was planning on using these tire sizes. 245/40/18 front & 275/35/19 rear. By reducing the middle number from a 45 to 40 in the front and 40 to 35 in the rear this should equal out for nice balance performance look and be fine guys ?

You have the tire diameter's spot on at 25.7" tall for the front and 26.6" tall for the rear (only short by 0.1" from stock) However I'd think that those being such wide rims, you'd still have them poking if you dont have wide fenders, but they'd have tires that don't optimize contact patch. I'd probably just stick with stock 18/19 C6 base wheels if I wanted those wheel diameters but this is just my opinion

My current rims stock c6 z06 are a 245/45/17 & 275/40/18 stock sizes for the c5. I like the z06 style suits the c5 nice and clean I think.

Those are the stock C5 tire sizes which result in 25.7" and 26.7" tall

The 18/19" tires you chose are 25.7 and 26.6" tall

C6 Z06 wheels are much wider though. They poke out on the stock C5 body. Then to put a smaller width tire on, would be going towards the stretched tire look. This is what I meant by having a wheel that pokes but not optimal tire contact patch for the corresponding wheel

I would like the back tires to be a bit wider. Street legal slicks dot approved are most likely the outcome here!
