CHANGE SEALS/GASKETS BEFORE 3.42 INSTALL???
Would it make sence for me to have the seals and gaskets changed before the 3.42 is installed on my Vert. According to Xtreme, it is a low mileage 3.42 off of a 2001. I don't see any indications of leaks but with all the post about this problem, I am sure it is effortless to change the gaskets on an uninstalled differential. :confused:

most are easy to replace. I have the maintenance proceudre for the carrier... somewhere. I'll email it to you once found.
