Default Lifter install question. Help needed ASAP.

Hey everyone, I'm installing the lifters back into my car, and I've kept them in the proper order. However, I noticed that one side of the lifter has a small hole in it (for oil draining, I assume). This might seem insignificant, but does it matter whether or not this hole is oriented to the front or the back of the engine?

The service manual doesn't say anything about it either way.

Thanks!

doesn't matter, some of them even have the holes on the top/bottom.
