stroked turbo
im looking at getting a c5 (i know my nic says c4, and no i dont have a c4)
and will need more power.....
since i live overseas (australia) ill be wanting as few parts coming over as possible, and high potential upgrades....
so im thinking a stroked 383 turbo.....
get a lunati stroker kit and a custom turbo kit, the cerra one or see what comes out.....(no sc's)
i dont see the point in nitrous...for my application anyway....10s is fine for me (for now anyway) and a stroked higher boosted turbo would get that...
not many c5 vettes here (about 5 for sale in the country, vettes are priv import only in aus.)
so i havent chosen my car yet....(dont know if itll b a 6spd or auto)
but people who've been this route, any suggestions, what power & times are you getting, mods etc....
comments from anyone else??the more help the better
if i dont find a suitable c5 (not much to chose from), id either be getting a porsche 930, supercharged 993, or a heavily modded 300zx....out of these id lean towards the Z because easer modded ($wise too), and theres ways too many porsches around these says (boxter & 996)
