In Cruise tap brake to momentarily disengage, hit Resume and during return to speed there is a shutter sometimes, more often than not. The car will accelerate smoothly in high gear to 130 or higher, but in the resume mode there is this shutter. Anyone ever experience this?
If it's an auto it could be the trans hunting for which gear it needs to be in. Then as it gets to the set speed it settles in. A remedy would be to accelerate to the speed or close to it before re- engaging the cruise control. Try it out and see if it helps.
Relax Phanni at 130 he's got 2 more gears. Maybe try and replicate by tapping the brake to disengage and accelerate with your foot back to speed to see if the shutter happens. Do it at the same speed that it happens at. Accually does it happen at many different speeds or usually at around a certain area of speed?
OK the 130mph thing was to illustrate that just using the throttle. Only with the cruse set and interrupting with the brake then hitting resume will the shutter show up. This is in high gear.
