Half Shafts

Anyone have any thoughts/experiences with them? From what I understand, the drivers side is "weaker" than the passengers side...Can anyone confirm this?

I think you mean output shaft. And yes, I can confirm. :(
SpeedWorks and a few others have hardened ones.

Yeah, Output shafts. Did you replace one side or both? Lingenfelter has one they are recommending I install...

There's a group purchase going on in C5 parts for sale right now, if you're interested you can get one for $254.00. give me a call at the shop if you're interested.

I just replaced the one that broke (driver side.)

I just broke the short passenger side shaft.....with stock tires at the dragstrip.

Now fighting GM to cover total cost for a new rear.

newbie to C5s here, just wondering what it takes to break one? General opinions? i'm dynoing 372 right now w/cam and headers. i dont have sticky tires right now, but looking forward to getting some in the near future.

Am i in the danger Zone? Oh yea, money is tight right now.
