C6 gauges overlay inside C5 gauge cluster?

C6 gauges overlay inside C5 gauge cluster?
I'm wondering if the C6 gauges overlay is capable of fitting inside the C5 gauge cluster? I have a C6 gauge cluster that I'm think about taking apart and using its overlays on my C5.

I was going to say no initially, but on closer inspection they look to be REALLY similarly sized. HOWEVER......
The C6 cluster lights up ENTIRELY different than the C5 cluster. The C6 uses LED's for it's lighting, where as the C5 uses reactive paint and a blacklight (hence the awesome effect they have when lit IMO). The C6 faces will not react in the same way.
Post up if you try it. I'd be interested to see the outcome.

Or utilize the C6 led lights with the C5 cluster. Also forgot to mention, that I plan to do red leds.
