Squeaky Belt?????????????
I have a '98 with 50k on it. I have put a new belt on the car and it squeaks when I start it. It only does it if the car sits atleast a day or longer. Also, noticed that it does it more if it has rained. It stops after a little while. Just wondering if I should replace the tensioner or if it is something else.

Could it be the air conditioner belt? This is the short belt. To take it off, you have to remove the larger belt then remove the clamp that holds the two oil lines to the engine. I tend to always do both belts as it is easier to do it once than have the second belt need replacing right after doing the first. I believe this is part of "Murphy's Law".
