Default Shifting issues

1998 with 95k six speed. Sorry in advance for the long post but I’ll try to give as much details as I can.
Drove the car home about a month ago, 1,100 miles. No issues. Since home it has been gradually getting harder to get into first. Fast forward about 3k miles....
Installed and MGW shifter. Triple checked to make sure it was right. Car goes through all gears perfectly when not running.
Wouldnt go into gear recently when running. My friend suggested sucking out clutch fluid from the res refilling, pumping clutch, repeat. Did this couple times. Car went into gear when running. When it’s cold it shifts gears decently. The warmer it gets, the harder if not impossible it is to get into gear. Especially first and can’t get into reverse with out turning off car.
Most recently it won’t down shift without a perfect rev match. Oh and sometimes goes into first effortlessly but few and far between.
Thanks for reading

A lot of shifting-into-gear problems arise from warn/faulty slave cylinders, does sound like a complete clutch job is due. Unless something is wrong with the transmission? Hard to say...but I doubt it.

Have you done the "Ranger" method on the clutch fluid system? I bet the clutch fluid is black. I do it everytime I wash my car which is approx twice a month or roughly 100 miles. It seems to help shifting and prolongs the life of the hydraulic system.
