Does anyone know how to adjust the tpms system so I can run the appropriate tire pressure when I get new tires? The tires on car are much better when I set them by the recommended pressure that’s printed on the tire. I’d ditch the sensors when I put on the new tires but apparently no one will mount them without the sensors. I’m 56, been driving and part time racing on and off for a lot of years, which has taught me the right way to set pressures but am new to stubborn computers. Am driving a 1999 hardtop. Jeff

The pressures shown on the tires are maximums the tire can take - not the recommended pressures for your vehicle, which are in the doorframe or the driver's manual. The Corvette design and development engineers in conjunction with tire suppliers, specify the optimum pressures for the car/tire combination.
