I started having issues when my 2000 C5 cabin fan stopped working. When I grounded the control wire from the control head the fan works on full speed. That problem is temporarily solved with a switch. Then I noticed that the drivers side air is considerably warmer than the passenger side when temps are set to lowest setting on auto. I checked the HVAC 99 codes and found that the right side was showing out of range and open feedback. I ordered two new temp door actuators and installed them today. The codes now are gone but the drivers side is still warmer when on the lowest setting. I'm pretty sure that the reason the fan stopped working has to do with a problem on one of the boards in the control head and now I'm thinking there could be multiple issues with control head not adjusting the temp low enough. The display still works and all of the other zone controls work. Unless someone has a better idea I guess Ill just dig deep and buy a new control head and hope that take care of it. Any advice would be awesome.
Thanks
Check your Freon level. Have a shop put a set of gauges on it to verify that the Freon charge is correct.
The HVAC controllers rarely go out other that the display and lights.
As to your fan issue, the speed controller mounted next to is probably has failed. I would replace that before replacing the HVAC controller.

Thanks Gary, Actually the first thing I tried was installing a new speed control module but still had no fan control. Ill check the pressures of the AC but I'm still wondering why cool air wont come from the the drivers side but will come from the passengers side.
