I finally got around to changing the spark plugs this weekend. Thank God for the tech tips otherwise I probably wouldn't have done it myself. It wasn't that bad once I got the hang of it. But I'll tell 'ya that #7 was a Pain in the ****, the rest of the drivers side wasn't easy either but I got it done. The only problem that came up was that the spark plugs I bought (NGK TR55) were of different color one was the copper one's (put on the passenger side) and then I was suprised to find the second box had the platinum coated one's (put on the drivers side) is it bad that I'm using both. I was already into it and NAPA was closed by the time I realized so I just installed them. Please advize on whether I have to go back in that damnit drivers side again?
Also, I loved working on the car, is there anything else I can do by myself, I don't know everything about engine work but I can follow directions really well. Please post.
Thanks in advance guys. :D
I would put the same plugs in both sides, it probably wont 'hurt' anything the way it is as long as they are the same heat range but it will bother you until you do :)
I find it easier to pull off the coil pack on the LH side, its only five bolts and one plug - for my big hands it makes it a lot easier.
