Theres several places an oil leak can develop. Rear main seal is common, as is the oil pressure sensor. Another common spot is the crank position sensor next to the starter. The list can go on and on. If you're questioning the pcv valve then that would lead me to believe you're seeing oil on the top passenger side of the motor. Pcv valve would be the first thing to check in that case.
