Default What’s next for mods ?

I got a good CAI set up , ls6 manifold and headers/full exhaust on my 99 6 speed convertible . What would be a good next mod ? I don’t want to change the gears .

No idea. What are your goals? If you only want to make 400whp a supercharger or turbo are obviously poor choices.

I'm a fan of installing mods coincidently with doing major repairs that are due (if any). For example, if your balancer is in poor shape or nearing it's end, I would consider a medium/mild cam upgrade + oil pump + front main seal because you're already there. That's what I did at least. I was obsessed with getting a cam, and you would benefit since you've done other bolt-ons to benefit for better pumping efficiency. But your goals and what you like is key of course.

what kind of supercharger and how far would you want to go with it power wise?

I had a 150 wet shot with an ECS mail order tune on my 2001 Auto w/ headers and Vararam intake before going with a supercharger.

A good used wet kit and 10lb bottle can be found on here or LS1tech at around half the cost of new. DIY Install was not any worse than HID headlights. I didn't have any gadgets like a remote bottle opener or bottle heater on mine. A bottle heater would be nice because after 3-4 sprays on a 10lb bottle I could tell there was less bottle pressure and the "hit" is a bit weaker, but I heard wiring one up was a nightmare. I just unhooked the bottle and gave it a hot water bath if I knew I was low and planning on spraying.

I went through about 10 bottles in year and a half or so at around $40-50 a bottle. No track sprays, so I'm not sure if you'd go through more/less than that. 150hp is the most I'd go, just have ECS get you a mail order tune for a 150 wet shot and have fun while you save up for a supercharger kit!

x2 on saving for a S/C

Cam/gears etc will cost you at least the same in the end....I love a good NA motor but honestly SC is the best way to go

I have a supercharger. They're great for street use, less awesome for track use unless you're willing to commit full-bore to all the supporting mods. We still don't know OPs goals beyond "more power."
