Recently was riding down the FWY in my 2004 Z06. Info on dash said I had a problem with the ABS (?) and said take it to the dealer. Dealer indicated the part I needed was 10343433 electronic break control module. Dealer said they
this part was not longer available via Chevrolet. Needed after market model. Looked around apparently a new ECBM was no longer available. Checked the forum this issue was discussed years ago. Anyone have any suggestions on
the EBCM issue as of late? Where shall I start. Any help would be appreciated.

Pull and post the trouble codes from the IPC. If you have C1214, which is very common, it most likely can be repaired by a ABS module repair shop. If you have C1255, that is usually a death sentence.
Started to get ABS - Traction Control codes (can't remember if it was a C1214 or a C1255). Someone on this forum recommended looking on the net for a repair/rebuild service. Most were $150 (or more) so I checked out Ebay.
I removed the module from the pump and send it to the repair service. They shipped it back in the same package I sent (make sure you pack it good in a decent box).
I sent mine out (USPS Priority) on the 11th and received it back on the 18th. Installed the rebuilt module the day it arrived and no ABS - Traction Control codes. That was one year ago and no codes since.
It only cost $50.00 (with free return shipping) for the service.
*I have no connection to the repair service other than having them repair/rebuild my ebcm module
