Default C5 alignment spec

Anyone have a more aggressive than stock but still tire wear friendly alignment spec they can share? Just finished up a bearing, bushing, ball joint, end link, upgrade. Need to align the car and want a little better grip!

Contact forum member @mrr23 for suggestions/advice. He has an alignment shop and is very knowledgeable.

Anything less than -0.50 camber will wear the insides of the tires. I wouldn't go past -0.75 camber and you'll get minimal inside wear.

I run extreme alignment with very little tire wear, These are autocross tires (yokahama/BFG/Bridgestone) and may not be representative of the general tire out there. I have -2.25 camber in the front 0 Toe and 6.5 Caster. In the rear I have -1.2 Camber, 3/16 total Toe. I drive to events (300 max one way) put over 4000 miles per year on the car, use a digital tire depth gauge, constantly measure tire pressures, put 200-250 event runs per set of tires and have amazingly even tread wear. Most of the front tire inside tread wear is from having too much Toe in or Toe out.

THIS ^^^^ running "too much camber" on it's own is not a problem. Tire wear from lots of camber is a very very very slow process. If you're not tracking or autocrossing your car but you like to play a little on the streets -1.0 or -1.5 is fine and will feel good. I run -2 up front and -1.6 in the back with 0 toe in front and 1/8th toe in in the rear and my tire wear is consistently fantastic.

I agree with this as well. The more negative I ran on my C5Z the better the tire wear. I think in front I was in the -2.3 area and -1.6 rear 0 toe front and a little more than 1/8" toe in rear.

I ended up taking MRR23's advice and set the neg camber at -.50 front and rear. The car feels so much more planted than before. I replaced all bushings with Poly bushings, wheel bearings, upper/lower ball joints, rod ends, sway bar links and upgraded to Z06 shocks. The set up feels night and day different but does not ride harsh at all. I'm very happy.
