I've been doing some research as I need to build a fuel system for my LSA and want as many factory parts as I can get on it. After measuring I'v found that the C7 ZR1 fuel pump will fit into a late C5 and C6 tanks. I haven't gotten far enough to see what else I will need, but for sure then in tank fuel line will be needed. I'm not sure what else yet, but worse case is the line inside the cross over, and the passenger tank line. Here is the flow numbers for the fuel pump. It looks like it will support 800 fwhp on a supercharged engine with a little room. This is also around a $230 pump.
Looks like the LT4/5 fuel pump will support 800 fwhp on my LSA. Here are the flow numbers I got back on it compared to the CTS-V pumps.
At 60psi = 1.37gal/min, 82.2gal/hr. At 6lbs/gal, = 82.2 * 6 = 493.2 lbs/hr Most modern supercharged engines up to 750hp need 0.6 lbs per hour per horsepower (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption/BSFC) 493.2/0.6 = 822hp.
