HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
My brother just dropped a supercharger into a new Mustang and ran a 12.50 at 115mph. I have a 2k1 vette with headers, XR-1 exhaust and the intake system. I need to know what else to do in order to beat him before we end up hooking up. Please advise. :confused:

Not a drag racer, but since no one was responding to you post:
I read some numbers the past few days in reference an 01 Z06 running in that range or faster (stock). Do you think you could be a stock '01 Z06? The real question is what type of tires you have. Drag radials will get you 0-60 time down. The goal would be below 2.0 seconds.
That's just what I've heard other guys talking about.

You should not be far off.... the launch would be critical for both of you. How much do you want to spend depends on what direction to go in.

Easy way to win:
Drag radials - nittos should have you in the 1.9 60' = 12.6 to 13.0
or
Nitrous - 50 or 100 shot would put you in the low 12's = 12.0 to 12.5
or
Change Cams - good for 30 rwhp and a mid to low 12 (see sig) My car went 12.7 with a friend driving before the cam. = 12.6 to 12.8
or
gears - a friend has the same setup as you but with 4.10 gears. 12.4's at 114. = 12.4 to 12.7
Those are your options - all are less than 1500 installed and should give you a 12.5 or better run, if you currently run low 13's.
