C5 Dash bulbs
Hi,
When I changed the incandescent instrument cluster warning bulbs with LEDs my C5 vert base started with throwing codes every other day from ABS 1214, system ground fault, to service active handling to others & clearing the codes stops them then another code displays.
The check engine light and PCM 0650 code which is the warning CE light is malfunctioning is persistent and won’t stay cleared and the CE light stays turned on unless I dis- connect and re- connect the battery.
I ordered incandescent bulbs to replace the LEDs for the trouble, directionals, MPH, CE, check gauges, etc
My question. Should I change the LED bulbs in the HUD & DIC modules back to incandescent bulbs? Has anyone experienced code problems with LEDs in the HUD & DIC modules?
