Hello everyone, I'm looking for someone who has installed BBK shorty headers on a C5 Corvette m.y. 2000. Indeed my C5 is one of those m.y. 2000 that were not destinated for California or other C.A.R.B. compliant states, therefore it doesn't have pup cats at the top side of the stock H pipe (bone stock car). I've asked to BBK if their p.n. 40000 shorty model for 97-99 C5, fits my car as a bolt-on (as I guess), due to the fact that the 97 to 99 C5 models don't have pup cats either, but they don't know. What's for sure is that BBK shorty for m.y. 2000 have been discontinued. Basically I need to know if I can get the BBK p.n. 40000 fitting model 99 and just mount on my car as a bolt-on, with no tricky things to do (like modifying the flanges or adding some extra pipe to connect the shorty with the H pipe and so on).
Anyone can help me out? I know there might be other manufacturers for shorty that maybe could have the right solution, but I like BBK, also because they're the cheapest on the market. Don't want to spend 1k for BBE or B&B.
LT headers are illegal in the Country I'm from, so they're definitely not an option for me. Thanks.
