The last dash or cowl rattle...... HELP
I've had my C5 15 years and over 100,000 miles, and one by one I've fixed the issues on the car, with a great deal of help from the forums, which have almost fooled me into thinking I'm a mechanic! I've had the dash out of the car probably 20 times, for various repairs, not the least of which as a result of rattles.
The one that has escaped my efforts after so many years is coming from in front of the instrument cluster- and really sounds like the heads up display unit bumping around when you hit something pretty stiff on the road- pot hole or the like. I checked that the last time I had to replace the blinker relay, and it seemed to be torqued down solidly. So, that's not it, although it's coming from that area, and it's sounds like a good sized part bouncing around.
Any ideas? Thank you for any help!
