My car is currently Powerloaded by TTS. I plan on having the car reprogrammed w/ LS1 edit for the new H/C job this weekend.
Can I simply back out of the Powerloader w/ my powerloader unit or do I need to have the PCM reflashed by the dealer in order to tune with LS1 edit? Can I just do LS1 edit over the TTS powerloader?
I was told it would be difficult to do LS1 edit over anything but the stock PCM, is this true?
Those who have done it, your recommendations/experiences pls?
Re: How to reprogram PCM after TTS Powerloaded? (ModifiedC5)
Not sure what the Powerloader does to the PCM but is it like a HPP3 where you can put the tuning back to stock?
All I know for sure is I would not try to load LS1 Edit OVER the Powerload program. The Powerloader is set up for a stockish car where as heads/cam might require lower timing and more fuel.
Re: How to reprogram PCM after TTS Powerloaded? (ModifiedC5)
First of all...TTS (Steve cole) LOCKS his program so NOBODY can modify it. :mad He WILL reprogram it for you but plan on a loooooong wait..I waited 4 months for mine and coudn't wait anymore so I went with Ed Wright at www.fastchip.com. If you have the dealer flash the PCM to stock THEN you can use LS1 edit..
My car is running as strong as ever with the Ed Wright program. You will have to send the PCM to him and he will get it back to you in 3 days..:D
