Okay gang I have been a car guy for years. My Dad worked with the major dealers for years. I remember the "Crusher" (wrestling dude) stopping in to the dealership in the early 70's
I also remember my Dad putting a 455 dual quads in my '68 cutlass after I blew the original 350.
I used to buy cars and run them out to my buddy in CA to flip them. I think I have 10 non stops out to CA under my belt (guys got to make a buck)
So I recently sold my '68 Olds Cutlass convertible (which I had for 30 years) and purchased a '99 FRC.
No regrets, I love this car!!!!
Please school me on how to properly maintain this car.
Soon to store for the Minnesota winter.
Thanks.
There's no real unique maintenance for a C5. Change the fluids regularly, keep good brakes and tires on it and keep the battery charged. If you don't drive it for more than a week, keep it on a battery tender or it will drain the battery and hurt it, plus low voltage causes all kinds of issues on these cars that are easily prevented.
