Default TEA 5.3l S2 Heads, INSTALLED!

HOLY *@#* does my car like these puppies. It pulls SOOOOOOOOOO hard now. I'm somewhat scared of the power I have now. I have to be much more careful where I punch it because it breaks loose at will. I was cruising along at 74 MPH in sixth I dropped it down to fourth and punched it, the whole azz end busted loose on the highway. I was NOT expecting that  I love the power but I'm gonna have to learn how to drive this biatch all over again. I dunno how ya'll with 450 + RWHP handle these things for day to day use. IMO, this is a little much for street use in the wrong hands but I'll remain cautious ;).

I'm done with the motor modifications to my car for a good long while now. I'm VERY content with the power I have and streetability. I'm sticking here for now. Time to upgrade suspension to the ZO6 springs, HAL shocks, sway bars and CCWs ;) That's a long way off but those are my plans now :yesnod:

Brian at TEA makes a QUALITY set of heads. They are the best bang for the buck, IMO. You cannot go wrong with these babies :smash:

C5Noir, i spent a few hours on my heads/cam/pulley install writeup. I'd like it if you could take a look at it before I post it for all to see. I'm getting together a list of names of people that can read it and see if things are missing. I've done 3 C5 headswaps now and 2 cam swaps so it should be pretty complete, but who knows.

I may have something for you to read by tomorrow morning if you are up for it.

jmX, based on the interest of your upcoming article, I imagine the aftermarket shops should get ready for a bunch of orders for cams and heads!

I am out of easy and fairly inexpensive :D mods, so I need a new project for this winter. I am patiently waiting! Your hard work  will be appreciated!

Guys, thanks for the compliment. She is just a friend of mine.

The backdrop on the garage is used to reflect the sun-light from the rear. I need to do some Photoshop work on the background.

Sorry Levi, didn't mean to hi-jack your thread. :blueangel:

Nope, that's about it, Binks ;). The duals have a much longer life span than the 918s plus the 987s came with the new heads ;)

From lurking on several forums the TEA 5.3 heads, TR224 or TR227, and FLPs is the setup I wanted to run on a C5 should I be able to get one. Is the TR224 on a 112 or 114 LSA? Strap it on the dyno we want #'s
