97 Coupe Remote Key less issue

Hi there, I have had my 97 coupe for a while and now the remote key less entry has developed an issue. it stopped working after about a year or so(figured battery in remote was dead) placed new battery in remote and re-programmed. Worked for a day and then stopped again, re-programmed and stopped after a day again. Everything else in the car works fine. Has anyone seen this issue before?

Is this with the fob switch on or off?

HI,
I do not have the remote with the On-Off slider, the remote i have is one from a newer model C5 which has always worked(bought it at chevy dealer 2 years ago when i purchased the car.) it worked up until last week.

Check the fob for cracked solder joints on the PC board.
