Default Egg Gas (Sulfur) Exhaust..???

When I got my car it had this problem (w/ egg exhaust) but the air filter was super dirty so I blamed this and put in a new filter, but the problem hasn't gone away yet.....Help :confused:

This is almost always due to a bad catalytic converter.

Caused by clogged cat converters.

This is almost always due to a bad catalytic converter.
Or cheap gas. The amount of H2S (rotten egg smell) that is produced corresponds to the amount of organic sulfur compounds are in the gas. If you live in an area that isn't real strict about pollution control, you're more likely to get higher sulfur fuels, even from the major manufacturers. So while it could be a catalyst or sensor problem, switch gas stations and wait a tank or two before you act.
