Two years and 50k miles is pretty good for wiper blades. I can not see any reason to go with any thing else. Mine are over two years old and just now starting to leave some streaks. That is better than any of the blades on my other cars have done. When I finally get around to it I will replace them with OEM.
Bog standard OEM's though I'm sure if you really want to you could find some really expensive ones should you really feel the need to waste your money.
I see no reason to use other than OEM. If you religously wash the blades AND keep the windshiled clean, the blades will last a very long time indeed. You can get the blades pivot points to last longer if you use a touch of amourall in the bending areas.
In reguards to harsh climates, I find Texas heat does a lot more damage than did the salt in Pitburgh PA winters.
I have not found any blade to work better than OEM.
But the last time I checked the price (several years ago), the OEM refills were $15.00.
Others were aound $6.00.

Yeah, OK, I bought the piaa blades with the carbon fiber look. Dosen't make a darn bit of difference. Silly me.
Maybe its the carbon fiber :D
I got the black Piaa blades and they work great. The stock blades at 15k would start to streak at the end of the travel. I have driven in the rain for 1 hour with no streaks so far w/ the Piaas. I keep the windshied very clean as well as the blades but it did not help with the stock blades.
