I have an 02 Z 06 with 61K miles. It is new to me and I am replacing the yellow valve springs among many other things. I am curious if you can identify the factory from a pic. Attached is what I have and if it is the factory part then maybe I should replace it since it is apart. Any help you can apply would be great.
That looks like a factory balancer. Replacing valve springs doesn't require removing the balancer. Unless your getting farther into the job, replacing the cam or front seal, its a lot more work to do the balancer. Just saying
