do you grind 2nd gear

When you are powershifting, does your 2nd gear grind?
I can powershift 3-4 but 1-2 always grinds .. whats up...

Mine is notchy. Sometimes you can feel it not wanting to go in smooth.

I replace the ATF with Redline. It has really made a big difference. :cheers:

I need to do that on mine because mine grinds like crazy going into second. Heck sometimes its even hard to go into first.

those of you with grinding issues, it wont be long before you need a new tranny. I say this from experience. The synchros suckk in these cars. I'm on my 3rd tranny. Well, i thrashed the first one through all the dragracing. The dealer tried to rebuild it under warranty, but the rebuild didnt take because all the shaft bosses in the case were hogged out so the synchros still grinded afterwards. so, they got me a whole new one. you will need a new tranny eventually..
