Which exhaust should I BUY?????? HELP??
Hey guys! Can anyone recommend a good Muffler? I want something that is quite but not to quite. Corsa, Tri-flow, Borla? which is the best? Thanks for any help that can be provided. I have a 2002 corvette.

Buying an exhaust package is extremely personal. I went with a fairly loug system. It has some resonance, but has 12-13RWHP, and I have been stopped many times and asked about the system by the sound.
I spent a whopping $450 for a Magnaflow X-pipe and magnaflow race mufflers... installed.
So, it's up to you.
Here's an old picture from underneath. I don't have the new ones up yet. I now have an exhaust plate and the mufflers are more straight in a line with the Xpipe.

I think the guys at GHL in Arizona should put me on the payroll. Their exaust system is extremely impressive for high mod engines. If you have a h/c package you will get impressive gains and it has a great old muscle car sound. I have h/c and an ATI system and got 18rwhp and similar torque above a corsa system I had been running. It is also much quieter though it has a great sound. I just read a post where a guy heard they are coming out with a long tube header set as well and I will talk to them shortly about this and a 3" exhaust system we had discussed I would like to have for a c5r 427 I have in the planning stage.

I personally like the 4 tips. I have a set of corsa indy's/pace on the way. I would suggest that you first pick which you like better...2 or 4 tip. Then get the wave files to listen to the various exhaust. As far as the corsa's are concerned go to http://www.corsaperf.com and then go and listen. They have idle, rev, take off, drive by, and dyno...and they sound awesome.

I just installed the GLH quad with 4" tips and a Magnaflo X pipe on my 01 vert and can only say its sweet, no resonance, quite as stock at cruise and sweet sounding at wot. I bought it at LAPD, ordered on Tue. had it on Thur ! Great service and an even greater price. You will not be sorry if you buy a GHL system from LAPD :flag

I have Corsa Indy's with dual QTP electric cutouts. Nice Corsa sound, and the car screams with the cutouts when I want........... plus, the cutout's are worth 2/10's.
