Default AC issues!

Hello!
When i turn on AC the compressor clutch engages, the ac light stays on, but it is blowing ambient air. The cooling fans up front do not turn on. I had the system vacuumed and refilled. No codes. It doesn't sound like the compressor is pumping and pressure stays same on or off. Any ideas?

Any chance you have access to a set of manifold gauges so you can see what the high side pressure is doing in relation to the low side? You should be able to see resting pressure and then what happens when the system is activated, which would tell ya what is likely happening. Any shop that charged it SHOULD have done so with a recovery machine or a set of gauges, and ensured it was functional before going out the door.

I do not have a set of gauges. I had the same issue before i took it in, thinking maybe it was low so I had them vacuum and charge up to specs. They did some diagnostics with the fill but being middle of winter i was not trying to spend a pretty penny for the charge and few hours of diag at that point. It had same symptoms I stated right after the vacuum and charge at their shop.
