I have a 2003 vert with no fuel pressure. Fuse is good. Relay is good. It appears there are 2 different fuel systems for this thing, early or late. How can I determine which one I have?

look behind the driver side rear wheel and if you have the early style fuel system you will see a fuel hat with 3 lines going to it at the bottom side of the tank, you will also have a fuel filter mounted to the driver side inner frame rail around the rear wheel area... you might have to take the metal access panel off from the tank to see the hat and lines but it is just a couple of bolts... if you don't see any of this then you likely have the later fuel system, if you are still unsure and can post pics we can tell you
I don’t know if you are any good with a test light and multimeter but I did a YouTube video on the fuel pump relay circuit testing...a quick check is to jump the load side of the relay which are pins 87 and 30...if your not mechanically inclined and need to take it to a shop this is an easy system to diagnose...and if they can’t diagnose it correctly they should be in another business !!
Super !!...if you need further guidance let me know !!
Thanks for the info. Looks like the 2nd relay was bad, too. I installed a new one and I'm running again.
This video helped a lot. Here's your virtual beer.
Thanks for the brewski !!...not all new parts are good unfortunately...they still need to be verified as good !!...and for future reference also stick with OEM parts especially any sensors and in your case relays.
I was an electronics tech for many years, and there was nothing worse while troubleshooting, then replacing a bad component with another bad component.
