Good afternoon. Having done extensive research on YouTube and in this forum I’m having hard time finding the best LED headlight replacement bulbs without rewiring or other complications. I believe the newest review I found is over a year old and there seems to be difficulties with the headlights only folding down with flashing the highbeams. Is there anything on the market that works flawlessly without re-wiring, Looking for a direct plug and play system with no issues.
Thank you for your help, Rich

Just answered this in another thread so I still have the link copied. If you install these between your oem low beam harness and the LED bulb your lights will close as designed. They are however polarity sensitive so pay attention to having the positive and negative wires appropriately aligned.

I ordered some so called all in ones but still the light motors would open and not close without the use of high beams to off ! It’s extra wiring but I believe it would fix the issue ! I switched a fixed light so I never got to try the parts ! Good luck

Speedy007, what is the brand name of the light replacement with this issue.
Had both 9005 & 9006 as you can see they come with a ballast and advertise all in 1 ! They also say if there’s a issue you could contact them direct for different error cancellations if you had a issue ! I chose to send them back as I was saying above the lights worked but would not open nor close without cinci’s fix or check out my thread there’s others ways to make it work ! Lights were ace in quality just that one issue ! Good luck I would guess most led these days are similar quality !
JMO,
LEDs in the stock headlights will result in a lousy beam pattern. I tried several different LEDs in the past and they all were disappointing as they are not designed for stock headlights. They do work very well in the stock foglight projectors.
I changed out my stock units and installed aftermarket projectors and they work great. There are many good retrofit kits for the C5 available these days.
