Has anyone had good success with Beru Silverstone spark plugs? They claim to be better than platinum and other competive plugs. Any comments or suggestions? I am also looking at a set of plug wires (Nology Hotwires) these are be far more expensive than others that I have seen such as MSD. Is there really going to be that much of a noticeable difference for a 200.00 difference between wires?
Save your money. I believe the consensus on this forum is that copper is the plug of choice for performance not for durability. If you don't mind changing the plugs every 15K-20K miles then go with a set of NGK TR55's and a set of MSD Wires. The wires will run you about $80 and the plugs aree less than $20.
i recently replaced my stock plugs and wires w/ taylor wires & NGK55 plugs.
Work great! Very reasonable also. What is the deal about the boots. Will that help w/whining noise an am radio after the wire change. Or is it just a heat shield for the wires. :chevy
