Passenger Window Problem

The passenger window on my C5 convertible will only go up a few inches. It will go all the way down, but only raises slightly. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Does it make a grinding sound when you try to raise it?

No, it doesn’t make a grinding sound. It just goes up a few inches and the stops. Thanks

You probably need a new regulator. I installed both sides a couple of years ago. Bought them off eBay.

If it’s not making a crunching noise I would try the punch method. Hold the window button up or down and punch the door panel right next to the handle. (Sounds crazy but do a search. Works most of the time)

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try the punch method; however it will go back down but still only rises up a few inches. I ordered a regulator with motor from eBay and should have it by Friday.
