Default Wheel Size

what size wheels have you been able to install on an un-lowered car? Will 19's or 20's fit all around? Any pics would be nice.

19" fronts and 20" rears will fit, lowered or not. 10" max front width, 11.5" max rear with un tubbed, 12-13 with tubs.

Check this link here...

Clicky Clicky Clicky.

It explains the whole process, although there are slight differences depending on the model you may have, e.g. coupe, vert, frc.

The short 'n sweet is 'tubbing' is the process of enlarging the rear wheel wells by cutting them out and stretching them in order to accodate larger wheel/tire combos.

I've always been told the the maximum rear wheel width is 12"....13" will require extensive modifications to the rear suspension and control arms. Are there any cars on the Forum with 13" rear wheels?
