I just had a Bassani X-pipe and Borla Stinger system installed and this combination really works well together. There is NO popping at all and in easy driving it is just a little louder than stock. But at WOT it just plain wails! It is a low and very smooth sound -- no "blattyness", if you know what I mean -- and at very high RPMs it seems to almost quieten, or hush a bit as if to add drama to the kick in the butt you are about to receive as the tranny upshifts. It sounds better than I expected -- just the right amount of "loudness". ( The rest of my exhaust is stock. )
The install went well with no alignment problems. I have put about 150 miles on it since the install and all is tight and leakfree. :D

"and at very high RPMs it seems to almost quieten"
That's the blood rushing away from your ears as your body is trying to protect itself from the trama. If you'd stay on it long enough you'd eventually get tunnel vision and then pass out.

Any other mods? I am thinking of the getting the Bassani Xpipe. I hear its good for a few ponies.
Re: Bassani X-pipe and "Stinger" combo installed (BRADS C5)
I really couldn't tell you whether the X-pipe added any power -- I had it installed with the "Stingers". It does seem to be a bit more peppy than before, but maybe that's just because it sounds so much faster. ( Or maybe it is faster because my billfold is lighter! )
