Dallas hot C5
I posted the following on the vettenet a few months back with no response. Does this ring a bell to anyone here?
Greetings! We just returned form the Dallas Super Chevy Show.
We were sitting in the stands on Saturday about noon watching the time trials. At Ennis they stage cars almost right up to the water box so you can see several cars in line. I noticed a black C5 in line and then a red C5 a couple cars behind him. I'm thinking this will be interesting to see a stock C5 run. He (assuming gender here) very tastefully rolled up and cleaned his tires off, he very tastefully short hopped it and quickly staged, and then very tastefully ripped off a 10.52 @ 138 mph. WOW! I jumped up and cheered! as did a lot of people. I was so excited I didn't jot down the red C5's run. I think it was in the 11's. I found the black C5 sitting at the edge of the show area but no one was around. He had "ET" 's on it and had a full cage in it but otherwise looked stock.
Sleeper? you bet! Street car? I think so.
You guys in Dallas - does this ring a bell? who was that guy? what's in that vette?

Wasnt the super chevy show back around memorial day many months ago?
There are tons of badazz cars around Dallas. Hard to say whos for sure.
