04 headlights
My 04 wouldn't start. Battery was completely dead. Put it on rapid charge after a few minutes tried to start it. Wouldn't start but the front headlights popped up but the lights were not on. All the lights worked except the headlights. When I shut lights off all shut off except the front lights wouldn't go down. Any ideas what to do?

If battery is completely dead it will take several hours to get it fully charged. Use a 10 or 15 amp charger with automatic cut off. Suggest you disconnect the battery while charging. Never use the "car start" option some chargers have. The sensitive electronics on our cars do not like that.
If battery sat dead for a long time it might be shot. After your charger shows it to be fully charged take to a battery store and ask them to test it.
