Default Cam ?'s

Im going w/ the F1 cam, hardened push rods, and new springs (not sure which ones yet), Im also going to have it tuned w/ LS1 edit.

My question is are their any driveability issues with A/C on etc...this is my daily driver. Also is their anything else I will need or should upgrade at the same time?
Thanks

If the cam is moderate to mild then you shouldn't have any driveability problems.. You might to consider an underdrive pulley and double roll chain(although stock will suffice)since you have to remove the stock pulley anyway.. BTW, what are the specs of this cam? Also, if the cam is a bit aggressive consider dual springs. Do a search for "cam swap" and you'll get tons of great info... :chevy

If your cam duration isn't greater then 229 and lsa is 114 it should idle fine without being to lumpy, but you will feel it.

Depending on your budget I would add 01 manifold,ud pullies, a good air intake and headers with low restrictive exhaust.
Got some extrra $$ go for some cyl. heads as well... :yesnod:

Default How much lift can the stock system support?

I thought .6 was about it (with stock rockers). That cam is really pushing it isn't it? Am I wrong?

There may be P/V clearance issues with that lift and duration, though I'm not sure with stock heads (valves). I would verify this before going with that cam. You will definitely feel that cam (it will be lumpy on a 112 LSA). The other thing is, you want to match your cam to your heads and I think that cam is waaaaay too big for stock heads. IE, the heads will not be able to flow enough to keep up with the cam and you may be asking for trouble there.
