Default Proper location for this ground?

While I’m in here... this was bolted to the back of the passenger side head. Where is the proper grounding location?!

thanks!

What makes you think it isn't supposed to be bolted to the head?

I believe that the ground wire for TAC module. It bolted to same ground as the negative side of battery on the engine block, just above the starter.

As far as I’m aware there is nothing grounded to the back of the passenger side head.

CORRECT !!...no ground located on the passenger side head...the ground for both bank coil packs located on drivers side head (G107). Is it a black or black/white wire ??

It is black and white and looks identical to the coil ground, but that ground is in fact bolted to the back of the driver side head.

Still unsure what this one goes to.

that could also be a ground for one of the fan relays, there are a few in the same location that look similar so as long as you get it grounded the location isn't really important... you can see the stud it was originally grounded to in the upper left of your pic on top of the frame rail

I just took another look at it and it appears to have the same wires attached to my starter..

This mystery wire comes out of the same portion of the harness as the smaller starter wires come from.. here’s another pic!

Thats where I thought it should go but the eye is much larger than the stud. Either way, that’s where it’s going. Also why does yours have a plate on it? Mine is just a stud with a nut.

It is just a little flap that covers the stud...yours may just be missing !!...there are also a few ground wires where the negative cable of the battery attaches to at the engine block...it may go there...that eye is larger there !!

Unfortunately it doesn’t reach that one.
