Default Power seat mounts

Has anyone used their stock power seat mounts with after market seats, like Corbeau, Braum, Cipher etc

I tried with corbeau (1” shaved). I reworked the actuator arm for more range to the lower the seat, still too high. I’m 5’9”, my head was too close to the headliner, no room for a helmet for track days.

I used the bottom rails from the factory power seats to attach my Corbeau seat. I am 6' 3" and am happy with the resulting height. In hindsight, it would probably have been better from a cost vs time stand point to buy rails but I had plenty of time with all the tracks closed to play with it.

Which Corbeau seat did you use, and what power functions did you retain? Any pictures available? Thanks for the reply

I am pretty sure it was the Forza seat. I did not salvage any power functions. Just used the rails to attach the seat to the bolts in the floor board. I can get a pic but it only shows the seat mounted in the car. No install pics. But I am very happy with the driver position. The car is still street legal but only street driven to HPDE events. Let me know if you want the pics. Car is garaged at another location, so it may take a day or two.

Thanks again for the quick reply. Pictures not necessary, especially if you have to go out of your way to get them. I am more interested in trying to maintain some of the power functions.

I was unable to retain any power function and had to adjust the seat to my liking and permanently mount it that way. Good luck with your project.
