Caliper slide pins lube
Hi. Is there an 'easy' way to lube my rear caliper slide pins without pulling everything apart?
When I uncover my C5 after winter storage one rear caliper (passenger side I think) sticks.

Might be the piston is froze in the caliper, it would be worth taking it apart to see if that's the case. If it freezes while your out and about you'll be calling a wrecker. I don't know of any way to grease a caliper pin other than taking off the wheel and pulling out the pin

I guess that's what I'm asking.....if I have to remove the whole caliper.
This same thing happened to me last year but I never had time to work on it. It went away after about a month (not steady driving of course).

Just to grease the pins, no, you don't have to remove the caliper....just the pin. But of course, you do have to remove the wheel(s).

I really should know this. I took my calipers off and painted them, changed pads, etc. But it was a long time ago.
When we get some warm days here in New England I'll make some time and see if the quick fix does the trick.
- thanks for the help - Stay safe!
