Default Seat belt bolt issue

Hi guys

New to this forum. Just recieved my 2000 Corvette convertible and not surprisingly some issues.
This one in particular is about the seat belt fastening.
It has been damaged for some reason.
When checking seat belt assembly it states it should be fastened with a guide bolt.
But mine is a stud (damaged) with a nut with a sleeve, threaded all through.
I checked the passanger side, and same setup there, but luckily undamaged.
Removing the nut/sleeve is no problem. The stud however is stuck. Attempted double nut trick without success.
I am wondering if my car has another setup then illustrated, potentially fastened from the other side of B-pillar.
Abit afraid of making matters worse if the stud is not fastened by threads.

Would appreciate any input if this is normal setup on the 2000 convertible.
Is the guide bolt actually a two piece assembly?
I have ordered a new guide bolt but then i need to remove the stud which currently is stuck. The nut/sleeve is easily removed.

Thanks alot for your input!

The "guide bolt" in the Keen diagram is GM part# 11516892. Takes a T50 TORX to take it out. Looks like someone used a torch on yours. This bold has a gob of locktite on it, so sometimes you round the TORX just getting it out. The threads are 12mm and the shoulder is 14mm

The other piece is factory welded into the B pillar and has no GM part number.

Convertibles are different than coupes with the seat belt top mount. The upper loop goes over the stud. There is a sleeve that goes over the stud and is held in place with a thin nut. The stud is probably welded into the b pillar structure.

Coupes have a nut welded into the B pillar and use a bolt to hold the seat belt in place, as in the diagram posted above.

Hi.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes that is what i suspected. Do anybody have a GM PN for the nut with sleeve (barrel nut or whatever it is called)?
