Going to install new shocks next week. Won’t have access to Tech2 to delete program from computer system for about 1 month.
I just want to make sure it’s no problem to do the shocks first before I delete the program. I know the error messages will pop up and car will be restricted to 80 MPH. But once I delete the F45 it won’t matter that I did the shocks first? I’ll be free and clear?
Thanks, but I have a friend of a friend who is a Corvette tech and has access to the Tech2. Just asking if it will cause me any headache to do the shocks before I delete the program.
It will cause problems if you unplug any part of that circuit. I popped the sensor out of the old shocks, wrapped them with electrical tape and ziptied them up in the wheel well when I did my coilovers. It was meant to be temporary like yours but I never got around to a tech2 and left it like that for a couple of years.
