Default Header rattle

I've had Speed Engineering 1-7/8" LTs on my coupe for over a year and despite my best efforts, I still get a rattle. All my clamps are tight, nothing hits anywhere, etc. but still, rattle. It's most prevalent when cold (first crank up in the morning) or when everything is fully hot (after driving around for a bit), which would on the surface suggest a lose clamp (things shifting due to temperature), but again, clamps are tight. And no, I'm not running the junk clamps SE sends. I got the really nice SS overlapping kind that don't leak and they are wrenched down tight.

If I crawl up under the vehicle (when it's cold) and whack the collector with my knuckles, the tone is very close to what I'm hearing. As I understand it, the pipe gauge SE uses is quite thin and I'm starting to wonder if it's a resonance issue with the pipe itself rattling.

Any ideas?

Hey what’s up man, I bought of set of these headers and just had them professionally done and am wondering if this noise will go away with time. Did you end up fixing yours or just left them as is? The noise is definitely noticeable

I was never able to sort it out. Best I can tell, nothing is hitting anywhere so it's just the pipe itself.
