C5 dic

C5 Coupe. All segments of DIC are on. Can see some changes with reset, but all are on. Seemed to appear after a jump start. Car is rarely used. Thanks, Bob.

Try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes, reconnecting.

Bad battery? Why the jump? Get it tested.

Battery tested ok. Disconnected battery again. Same result. Thx. Dimmer works.

Do they ever change or are they just stuck on. Do the panel switches do anything when pressed? If they never change chances are that the display segment drivers are stuck on. Maybe during power on selftest. So it's probably just a failure internal to the cluster and the cluster needs to be changed out.. Not sure if there is anything external to the cluster that could case this. Maybe something with the BCM since you may have had some kind of power transient when you jumped the car. Maybe someone who knows more about this will chime in.

did you end up finding out the issue? im having a similar problem
