Default Mechanic Rookie is Looking for Help !!

Hello everone,
My name is John Maines and I'm a Vette passionate. I own a C5 convertible for few years and lately I have decided to learn mechanic and to take care of my car but it will definitely takes some time and a lot of advices. Last year I have registered to a mechanic school in order to understand a bit more about engines but still have a lot to learn this is why I decided to register on corvette forum to share my passion with other people and hopefully get some help, advices, ideas for my future projects on the C5.
Few months ago I have purchased a RAM air intake system and a Granatelli Mass air flow sensor which I had no problem to install but now I have just purchased a MSD Atomic Airforce Intake manifold and unfortunately I can't connect my OED electronic throttle body on it as I have the impression that the size is not good.

Is someone familiar with this product and could help me ?

Thanks very much in advance

John Maines

OED - is that the original stock throttle body? MSD says the stock TB will work. But what's happening when you try to install the TB? Is there a space between the manifold and the TB, or you can't get any bolts to thread into the holes?

Hey, thanks for your reply which is appreciated. Yes i have the stock TB and this one has only 3 holes and the intake Manifold has 4 holes with different places. I have sent an email to the manufacturer to see if they have any adapter or any recommendation so let's see what they will reply.

Nothing yet as I just started to work on the C5 and trying to learn what I can do as Mods and how to install them. As I'm learning I am not that fast and I have to order all parts in USA.

If your trying to use your stock throttle body then you need a 3 bolt to 4 bolt throttle body adapter

most start with headers, cai, and a tune and go from there. your bolting that msd intake to your stock engine? Or just gathering parts... a lot of info here and diy threads. I suggest you do some reading!
