Ported 243 head ID
I bought a c5z last summer, that has an unknown-to-me head and cam combo. The previous owner did nothing to the car except maintenance. I'm hoping to figure out what heads I have (i.e. who ported them, and perhaps valve sizes etc). The numbers I have found engraved onto the heads are:
2402609 - just under valve cover, both heads
6065GK - on both heads on header mating surface
337063- right under 6065gk on pass head
334063- driver head
060107- driver head, header mating surface
060108- pass head, header mating surface
I know the heads are ported, I can feel the valve stem through the exhaust port, as well as the slight remnants of cnc ridges. I haven't found any numbers or insignia anywhere else on the heads, I looked in the obvious places like where the accessory brackets go. I admittedly am not familiar with what engravings may be GM's doing vs an aftermarket company, so the numbers I have posted may mean nothing.
