C7 drivetrain into a C5?.?

I was curious if anyone has ever tried to install a c7 z06 rear diff and trans into there c5? I have a opportunity to get a good deal on trans/diff/torque tube-and rear cradle and am wondering if it’s possible/cost effective. Ok ready for the jokes yet I am serious. Tia.

You're gonna need the TCM and it's CAN bus and not compatible with the C5 bus system.

What year C7?

Yes Pumba and RPM did a C7 trans/C6 diff with a shortened C5 torque tube. The car is on stock electronics and a LS based motor. Some would consider drivetrain to be the engine as well and the direct injection LT based motor out of a C7 would require ECU etc. I have not read of a LT in a C5.
